Marjan Trompetter has been appointed as a member of the Supervisory Board of Rabobank. Trompetter was appointed during an extraordinary General Meeting.
Trompetter (1963) studied business economics. As an organisation adviser she has specialised in organisational developments and has worked among other things on transformation issues geared to improving quality in large international companies. She also teaches organisational studies at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam and holds several supervisory positions. Trompetter is vice chairman of the Supervisory Board of GGZ Friesland, member of the Supervisory Board of Rijnstate hospital in Arnhem and member of the Supervisory Board of the Salvation Army.
Trompetter has been connected to Rabobank for a long time. In 2006 she took up position in the member council of Rabobank Northwest-Veluwe. Two years later she joined the Supervisory Board of that member bank. In that role she was closely involved with the merger of her bank with Rabobank Northeast-Veluwe to Rabobank North Veluwe. In 2011 she became a member of the regional assembly in Gelderland Flevoland and became chairman of that assembly in 2013.
Chairman of the Supervisory Board Wout Dekker is pleased with the appointment. “Marjan Trompetter’s appointment means we are adding an expert in the field of organisations to the Supervisory Board and making another step towards our goal of a more balanced composition of the Supervisory Board. Furthermore, I am proud that we’ve been able to appoint someone with extensive experience of our cooperative to the Supervisory Board.”
