The 12th edition of the World Mycotoxin Forum will be held in Bangkok, Thailand. It’s the first time the conference touches base in Asia.
WMFmeetsAsia will be held from January 13 to 15, 2020 in Hotel Nikko. The aim of WMFmeetsAsia – the world’s largest mycotoxin event – is to increase the awareness of human and animal health risks due to mycotoxin contamination. It offers a platform for the food and feed industry, science and regulatory authorities to exchange current knowledge, to promote harmonisation of food and feed safety regulations and control procedures, and to make recommendations for integrated strategies ensuring the safety and security of food and feed supply chains.
WMFmeetsAsia will include presentations and discussions in plenary meetings and parallel sessions, poster sessions, young scientists sessions, workshops and demonstrations and an instrument/manufacturers exhibition. The event also promises to have an interesting social programme.
The General Conference Chairs – Prof. Rudolf Krska and Prof. Chris Elliott – and the members of the Steering Committee and Advisory Committee are confident that the programme is well worth travelling to Asia for this year’s event. Information on the programme can be found on the event website: www.WMFmeetsASIA.org.
