One of the participants of the webinar was Caroline Vogelzang, director of investor relations (IR) at the Dutch based international feed company ForFarmers.
The Dutch Association of Investor Relations (NEVIR) represents its members – investor relations officers of listed companies and consultants. The mission of the NEVIR is to create optimum access for Dutch companies on the (international) capital market. More than 95 percent of the AEX funds, almost 60 percent of the Midkap and around 25 percent of the Smallcap index are represented by NEVIR.
Supporting this mission, NEVIR in cooperation with Company Webcast hosted the webinar ‘The landscape of sustainability ratings and guidelines; the changing role of the IR professional’, presented in cooperation with ForFarmers and Sustainalize. During this webinar they have discussed the context of sustainability ratings and ESG (environmental, social and governance), and in which way this is changing the role of the IR professional.
The webinar which was live at the beginning of December, 2019 showed insights in subjects such as the sustainability context, the investor perspective and sustainability ratings & benchmarks. It also highlighted the changing role of the IR-professional and the importance of sustainability goals as part of the investor relations.
