The management teams from the Victam Corporation and VIV worldwide have decided to postpone Victam and Animal Health and Nutrition Asia 2020 in Bangkok to July 9 until11, 2020. This decision has been made as a result of the newest insights of WHO on the treat of the corona-virus.
The WHO published report #39 on February 28th in which the risk assessment for the regional level as well as the global level changed from high to very high. After careful consideration, taking into account the interest of exhibitors and visitors and, above all, the health of all attendees the organisers decided to postpone the unique event planned for the end of this month in Bangkok (Thailand).
The organizers assessed that the present situation will not guarantee the quality of the exhibition. “As it stands, the event at the end of the month will not create enough business opportunities for our exhibitors and visitors under the current circumstances,” according to the organizers. Eighty percent of the exhibitors agreed with organizers that the postponement of the event is the best solution and have therefore confirmed the decision to move their participation to July 2020, trusting that the situation will improve during the next few months. Some exhibitors might not be able to meet the new date as they already agreed to other obligations further in the season.
Victam and Animal Health and Nutrition Asia 2020 is re-scheduled for July 9-11, 2020. “The objective remains the same, which is to realize the total animal feed and health event organized by Victam and VIV”, state the organizers.
