Protix invests further in pet health & nutrition and hires Paul van der Raad as Global Commercial Director Petfood. He will join Protix on August 1st.

Protix is specialised in insect-based nutrition for healthy and sustainable feed and food. To match the companies ambition to grow fast internationally Protix further enforces its global commercial strategy. For this reason Paul van der Raad is appointed as Global Commercial Director Petfood.
With his experience and network, Protix aims to serve customers even better. The company aims to thoroughly understand customer requirements and the needs of pet owners. This is accomplished with the appointment of the new commercial director. Van der Raad: “I am proud to join the global leader in insect production. Expert
Van der Raad is an accomplished commercial expert and has been active in the pet industry since 1997. He worked in various senior management positions in sales and marketing with leading petfood companies. He was with the Danish Vital Petfood Group for twenty years.
Van der Raad gained broad experience in both private label and branded products in a fast-changing international environment. This was in manufacturing, trading, and retailing. He has a background in both private equity and family run businesses. He is currently CEO at the Danish manufacturer Henne Pet Food. Van der Raad will be responsible for the commercial strategy, roadmap, and sales in pet nutrition.
